One of the most important aspects of our wedding was definitely the music. Alice took such great care to listen to our ideas and really get a feel for the kind of wedding we envisioned. She was able to take pieces of music we loved and translate it perfectly and seamlessly into a memorable experience. We even thought she performed better than the original artists! I was truly touched to have Alice be a part of our very special day.

Now that things have quieted down and Jojo & I are back in Maryland, I can at last write you as I had been meaning to do so sooner! We met so briefly during the pictorials that I did not have the chance to really thank you for playing so BEAUTIFULLY during our wedding! Your music lent so much grace, elegance and solemnity to our wedding. Each time you played the harp, I felt like I was in a dream. Our guests too were moved by the extraordinary way you played. AND, during the Offertory & Communion, when it turned out that there was no piano for my friend to play (I thought she was going to bring her own keyboard; she thought the church would have a piano), I was totally AMAZED when I saw you confidently step up to play "Sa 'Yo Lamang" which you just learned on the spot, and to play it so beautifully at that! I had figured maybe the cantor would just sing it acapella or maybe some other instrumental music would be played, so when you started playing the song, literally my jaw dropped! :D You are truly amazing!!!

We could not have asked for a better musician at our wedding. The music was even more beautiful than I could have imagined and Alice was wonderful to work with. As I look back on my wedding, the beautiful music and feelings that it brought out at our wedding is one of my most precious memories. Thank you Alice for making our wedding so special.

We had no idea going in what we wanted from our wedding music, whether it was going to be traditional or modern, light-hearted or serene. From the moment we walked into the first consultation, Alice was able to guide us with her expertise. You could tell instantly that this is something she loves to do! She played countless selections for us on her piano and harp, repeating selections we wanted to hear again, making gentle suggestions here and there, and always listening to our input to improve her suggestions.

When she played our selection of bridal entrance music on her harp, my then-fiance/now-husband actually teared up with the beauty of the full, rich sound. We knew then that Alice had recommended the right choice for us, from among all the contemporary to classical to current hits in her repertoire. She spoke us at length to make sure she understood the feel that we wanted to achieve with our ceremony, asking questions that we hadn't even thought to ask ourselves. She made sure we were absolutely happy with all the choices we made, and we definitely were. This is the advantage of having an expert by your side!

We walked out of the consultation 100% ecstatic! We felt sure that she knew exactly what we wanted. Furthermore, we felt that we ourselves had a better idea of what we wanted as a result of her guidance.

Alice not only walked us though the musical selection process, but gave us invaluable help during the rehearsal dinner, guiding us through some of the ceremony process that we had been unfamiliar with, such as coordinating the cues to which the various members of the party will walk, as well as ways to make the family & friends feel more included. As always, her suggestions were gentle and friendly in every way. On the day itself, Alice showed up promptly at the right time and helped to set the mood. The ceremony went flawlessly, largely due to her influence. Everyone knew exactly when to do what. The music was moving and beautifully executed. Hearing a harp up close, played by a masterful musician as Alice is, is a stunning experience, and countless people commented afterwards at how lovely it was.

After the ceremony, Alice went on to play the piano for us during the cocktail hour. Again, everyone raved at how lovely the music was. It perfectly fit with the light-hearted yet classy cocktail hour feel that we had hoped for.

All in all, Alice was a spectacular musician, a wonderful consultant, and her contribution to our wedding day was priceless. I'd unhesitatingly recommend her whole-heartedly. Because she is so versatile, it doesn't matter what music stylings you enjoy; I'm sure she can make it work for you! Working with her friendliness and professionalism was a joy.

Alice is a wonderful musician with not only an extensive repertoire but also has the ability to learn a song simply by listening to it. We received so many compliments from our guests about her, especially the prelude music. We would not hesitate to recommend Alice to all of our friends and family. She is an absolutely wonderful musician and a pleasure to work with.

I spent years taking piano lessons and listening to classical music, so the music for our wedding was extremely important to me. We've heard Alice play at another wedding as well as our own. Both times, we were impressed by the way Alice set the tone for the occasion and incorporated the musical preferences of the bride and groom.

You could get an idea of her musical versatility by looking at our wedding: she played piano selections of contemporary and church songs for our prelude, played Pachelbel's "Canon in D" on the pedal harp for the wedding processional, was the piano accompanist for a soloist, and the keyboard accompanist for a quartet. She even added a special touch (upon our request) - playing a glissando on her harp during the kiss!

Many of our guests had commented that our wedding music was beautiful. We are so thankful that Alice was our pianist and harpist, and we would definitely recommend her to anyone planning a wedding.

Alice is more than professional—she is friendly too. Alice is highly talented and very accommodating. Not only could she play any song we asked of her (on organ and piano), she also wrote an original piece for our wedding. We couldn't have been more happy with her experienced musical service. At a time when we had to make many decisions and oversee many details, it was great to not be concerned about the music.

Alice was a wonderful advisor to our wedding (especially with the musical recommendations). We were pretty clueless when it came to the type of music that is normally played at different parts of a wedding, and Alice provided many ideas for us. She would play the different songs on the fly and allow us to choose what we liked for the prelude, the postlude, the interlude...and all the other .ludes that I've already forgotten about.

On the day of the wedding, she was also very flexible, and would fill in all the 'empty' time with piano music. Unlike some of the other set pieces, Alice could easily play for 5 minutes, or 15 minutes if other parts of the wedding fell behind. Alice is a very accomplished pianist, and allowed us the comfort of not having to worry about the musical aspect on the day of the wedding.

During the candlelighting, Alice played the harp, a change of pace that was both beautiful and memorable.

Alice worked with us in creating the perfect music selection for our special day. She knew so many pieces and was able to play them by ear. Her musical talent was extraordinary and her flexibility made things so much easier for us! She was so professional, dependable and responsible that we didn't have to worry at all about any of the musical parts of our wedding.

Alice was very accommodating and helpful in helping us pick out music for our wedding. She spent significant amount of time letting us hear samples of different pieces, and for one piece of custom music which we really wanted to incorporate into the ceremony (but was not already in her repertoire), she was able to pull it off with no problems whatsoever.
